INTER-SCHOOL MATH QUIZ COMPETITION
“THE ONLY WAY TO LEARN MATHEMATICS IS TO DO MATHEMATICS.”

D.D.M. D.A.V.PUBLIC SCHOOL KASHIPUR organised an Inter School Math Quiz Competition for class VI to IX on 21st November,2023.
One team of four students one from each grade VI to IX participated in the quiz. The schools participating were G.D. Goenka, SRI Guru Nanak Sr. Secondary School, Little Scholars, Shivalik Holy Mount Academy, Samer Study Hall, Taravati Sarojini Devi Vidhya Mandir and D.D.M. D.A.V. Public School Kashipur. This quiz comprised of 5 rounds. Each question carried 10 marks .For the first four rounds one question was asked to each team.In the last rapid fire round 10 questions were asked from each team which were to be answered with spontaneity.
The event started with Gyatri Mantra and lightning of lamp. The judges were Mrs. Poonam bathla and Mr Hari Om Sapra .The students participated with a lot of enthusiasm showcasing their potential.
Shivalik Holy Mount Academy stood third with a score of 60 .The second prize was bagged by Little Scholar with a score of 116 and the first position was bagged by D.D.M.D.A.V. Public School Kashipur with a score of 146 points.
The event helped the students in identifying their capabilities and motivated them to learn and expand their knowledge. The quiz enhanced the inquisitiveness of the students thereby building confidence, mental prowess, and learning at the same time.
